Nestled in Castro Valley and one of the hidden jewels of the San Francisco Bay Area, Applecreek Farms offers the best in training, riding instruction, and horse care. Framed against rolling hills in a 50-acre country setting, Applecreek Farms has highly qualified instructors and trainers who guarantee personal attention. We welcome riders at all stages of development, as well as green or seasoned horses. Applecreek Farms is centrally located to serve clients from all over the San Francisco Bay Area.
Manager Lisa Robinson has forged relationships with many of the most-respected vets and farriers in the Bay Area. Tap into our vast network to find services and products for the horse and rider in your life.
We place a high priority on the safety and comfort of the horses we board and the students we teach. Our boarding facility is regularly cleaned, and we have close relationships with many of the best veterinarians and farriers in our region. We require our students to wear safety helmets at all times, and each of our instructors has years of experience in the saddle.
Our king-sized outdoor arena includes a hunter/jumper course that will challenge students who have different skill levels, and our large indoor arena allows us to exercise the horses we care for, regardless of the weather. We also have two round pens that are well maintained, and our country setting gives us access to miles of back-country trails that both the horse and rider will enjoy.
Applecreek Farms has plenty of space to store riding equipment, included a secured tack room that is controlled by our head trainer. We also have a hot-water wash rack that will accommodate even our largest horses comfortably, as well as trailer parking for your convenience.
